My good friend Paula, kind soul, is handing out daisies. Unfortunately, Montreal is going through a relative cold snap, so all I have to offer is some St. Lawrence River ice.

gosh---did you take it? from up high somewhere?

Amazingly lovely winter pic

Yes, I took it with my new camera. Not from up high, from shore, though fairly cropped in to make it more abstract. Glad you like it.

A great picture, Peter, love the sun's colours on the ice.

So, you have a new camera. There are going to be long line-ups on Lofoten for the best photo-ops.

Ice storm moving into the reigion of Waterloo today, should be a fun drive to work and home again.

Helm.

Gorgeous.

I wish there was some microchip that could be implanted under the skin that would allow someone (me, for example) to take good photos...or even just mediocre ones....or even just ones where no one's head is chopped off.

It is not a flower, Peter, but gorgeous illuminated ice.

getting trained with the camera for Norway?

Paula, definitely in training for Norway. We may have to change the name of the group from teh Nevada poets to the Nevada photographers :-)
