I recently tried Stuart Greenhouse's potato latkes http://www.stuartgreenhouse.blogspot.com/ and they were delicious. I think I have all the ingredients for pannetone in my house, except for the golden raisins (ah, too precious for me, and they are so good in couscous w/ dried apricots but I get ahead of myself) and candied citrus, but I think I can make that, lemon peel and simple syrup?
